Good morning Oppo! Today's song is brought to you by way of the intro movie for Gran Turismo 2 . This game introduced me to both realistic driving physics and The Cardigans when my older brother bought it in 2000. While at the tender young age of 5/6 I could only crudely enjoy either of them, the seed was planted and I'm now a huge fan of both. Not my absolute favourite favorite work by The Cardigans, but the crossover was irresistible.

Nina Persson may be my favorite female vocalist, or at least very, very close to the top. She's just that awesome...
As for favorite Cardigans songs, here's mine:

She's definitely pretty good. I like that she (and the rest of the band) can work so effectively with both slower, darker songs lil the one you posted, and stuff with a completely opposite tone:

I remember when this song came out. The Cardigans were coming hot off of Lovefool and were hoping to use this single as a vehicle to make them more than a one hit wonder. It might have worked, but the same week the album dropped, their record label merged with another one and the album never got the publicity it deserved.

Interesting little bit of history I missed because I was too young, thanks! My brother still has his copy of "First Band On the Moon" (and GT2), and I fell in love with their sound and have all of their albums on my computer.
